Andrew Gigante is the Director of the Center for the Arts and Technology at the University of Iowa. He works with emerging artists, artists from underrepresented groups, and artists who are passionate about their work.

As a student in the late 90s, Andrew was a huge part of the artistic culture at the University of Iowa. He was the director of the Center for the Arts and Technology (CAAT) and a professor of film & video who was known for his groundbreaking work on visual storytelling and the use of storytelling in film. He also founded the film school’s first student film festival.

A couple of years later, Andrew and I were talking about our relationship as a couple. We got a bit crazy about it.

I was always interested in seeing you in movies, but I didnt enjoy it. I had to learn how to like them. I dont know how to explain it.

I am not sure if you saw the trailer at the time, or at least I didn’t care much.

Like many people, we were more attracted to you than the other guy. We like the way you dress, but sometimes you are so boring. You always seem to be waiting for something. But I dont know if that is in your mind, or if you dont care, or if you just dont know how to be interesting. This is what I dont get. I love the way you look. I cant explain it.

Well, I think we all have that thing where we are attracted to people we think are going to be good at what they do. But you, I do not think you are going to be a good party-goer. And besides, you are a total douche.
